A bit about me

I specialise in wheel thrown pottery in stoneware and occasionally porcelain clay. Every piece I create is handmade by me – from wedging the clay to firing the pots. Because of this, each pot is original and unique in its own subtly different way.

Some of my pots are hand painted, inspired by ancient Kashan ceramics on display at the V&A.

I grew up in mid Wales and started potting whilst at university. After a number of years working abroad I returned to London and started teaching myself throwing at a shared ceramics studio in Hackney. In October 2019 I set up my first studio at my sister’s house in Islington and started potting full time.

After a wonderful first year in my London studio, I relocated to the Quantock Hill in the autumn of 2020, taking on an old friends pottery set in a converted stable attached to Parsonage Farm, Over Stowey. I have recently moved to a new pottery on the same farm.
