Wheel thrown is speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted in porcelain slip and cobalt slip detail. Glaze fired to 1250°C.
This big dish was made to either hang on the wall or be used as a serving platter. Hand-painted freehand, with sgraffito detail etched in with a pin blade.
Makes a nice pair with the other fat trout.
