A repurposed lid for large bird jars. I made spares and it sits very happily in its own right as a lovely decoration. Great on a mantelpiece or a table scape. 

Stoneware with hand painted underglaze decoration. Over painted with 24 carat gold lustre. This one has a circular crack around the middle which I’ve filled with gold lustre for some fun. It’s a strong enough piece but I wouldn’t play catch with it too often.
