Hand-painted earthenware tile, each one has been rolled out by hand then painted with one-off cobalt designs, inspired by 16th and 17thC delft tiles. Glazed with a fine crackle glaze and treated with an ink/coffee mix to define the crackle. These will hang nicely on the wall for a mini piece of art, prop on a table or mantlepiece etc.

The tiles are semi porous at the back so may not be appropriate for a shower installation but should be fine for sink backsplash etc. This tile doesn’t sit entirely flat as you can see by the angled pic.

Not food safe (the crackle will trap food stains, to clean - spray with bicarb or similar and the crackle will become clean again).
