Thrown on the wheel, this lamp base is made from warm terracotta clay painted with white slip, cobalt stripes and a crackle glaze. White from a distance up close the glaze is a crackle eggshell with some of the terracotta underneath showing through the brush marks.

Fitted with a brass bayonet light fitting and linen flex.
