Wheel-thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted with porcelain slip, glaze-fired to 1250°C.

Lovely little vases — not too small — that can hold a surprising amount of flowers. Perfect for a posy from the garden or a few stems on the table. Each vase is unique, with small variations and gentle imperfections that reflect the handmaking process.

Overpainted with 24-carat gold lustre, added to soften areas where the cobalt had jumped across from a nearby pot in the firing — embracing imperfection and adding a touch of warmth and richness.
