Fired for over 86 hours in the groundhog-style climbing wood kiln belonging to Nic Collins in Dartmoor. This bud vase was unglazed, the rich firing has covered it with wood ash and carbon trapping, more beautiful the closer you look. The vase is watertight and can be used both decoratively and functionally. not too small — that can hold a surprising amount of flowers. Perfect for a posy from the garden or a few stems on the table.
Little scars on the side of the vase have been covered in bronzed 24 carat gold lustre and re-fired in an electric kiln.
