Wheel thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted in porcelain slip and blue leaf cobalt slip. Glaze fired to 1250°C. These bowls are med/large, fab for serving up huge delicious dishes, as a fruit bowl or just sitting pretty.
Inspired by a 12thC Kashan bowl in the V&A, I’ve been playing with the leaf ideas for the last couple of years, all are individually hand-painted free hand with a natural haired brush.
Every piece is unique and will have little imperfections here and there.
