Wheel thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted in porcelain slip and green leaf underglaze. Glaze fired to 1250°C. Everyday versatile bowls, great for pasta and salads, but also make wonderful small serving bowls and many other uses I’m sure.
Inspired by a 12thC Kashan bowl in the V&A, I’ve been playing with the leaf ideas for the last couple of years, all are individually hand-painted free hand with a natural haired brush.
Every piece is unique and will have little imperfections here and there.
