Thrown on the wheel in speckled stoneware and a pulled handle, hand-rolled balls on the rim have been over-painted with 24carat gold lustre and re-fired in the kiln.

Handwash only, do not use abrasive surfaces or products on the gold. To remove wax hand wash with hot soapy water and a sponge. The iron in the clay can cause the surface to be rough in parts, and small bits of superficial crazing are dotted around.
