Thrown on the wheel in speckled stoneware, these large one-off candlesticks have been painted with cobalt slip stripes. Glaze fired to 1250°C. Both pots are individuals and although not exact replicas make a nice pair.
To remove wax hand wash with hot soapy water and a sponge. Every piece is unique and will have little imperfections here and there. The iron in the clay can cause the surface to be rough in parts, and small bits of superficial crazing are dotted around.
