Wheel thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted in porcelain slip and over painted with slips and underglazes freehand with a natural haired brush. Snake handles moulded by hand. Glaze fired to 1250°C. A medium platter, great as a serving dish or to hang on the wall.
Inspired by an ancient Greek plate.
Every piece is unique and will have little imperfections here and there. The iron in the clay can cause the surface to be rough in parts, and small bits of superficial crazing are dotted around.
Not Dishwasher safe - try to avoid using abrasive substances or surfaces on the gold
