Wheel-thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted with porcelain slip and cobalt stripes, then glaze-fired to 1250°C.

Lovely medium vase that could hold a very large bunch of sweetpeas, a medium bunch of dahlias or roses etc, or an average bunch from the shops. Each vase is unique, with small variations and gentle imperfections that reflect the handmaking process. This piece has a few bits of basalt poking through the glaze.
