Wheel-thrown in porcelain clay with a pulled handle, then painted with a cobalt squiggle and glazed in a transparent glaze before being high-fired to 1250°C. Finished with 24-carat gold dots, overpainted and fired a third time at a lower temperature to fuse the metallic detail.
A lovely small-to-medium mug, perfect for coffee. The porcelain has a beautiful translucency when held to the light and a soft, smooth feel in the hand.
Care: Hand wash only — the gold detail may fade with repeated dishwasher cycles or abrasive scourers.
