Wheel thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted in porcelain slip and red underglaze detail. Glaze fired to 1250°C. This dish was made to hang on the wall or be used as a serving platter. Inspired by Chinese carp scenes and Persian pottery, every bit has been hand-painted freehand, with sgraffito detail etched with a pin blade. A plate hanger is included which can be fixed to the back.
