Wheel-thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted with porcelain slip and blue cobalt leaf stripes, then glaze-fired to 1250°C.
A versatile vase with a gently narrow neck and small handles — ideal for roses, dahlias, sweet peas, tulips, and more.
This vase has a bit of gold kintsugi on the base to fix a glaze defect, see pics. Purely aesthetic, vase is watertight etc.
