A classic hand-painted vase with scroll handles and a generous, open form.

Wheel-thrown in speckled stoneware clay with scroll handles, then hand-painted with porcelain slip and blue cobalt leaf stripes. Glaze-fired to 1250°C.

Overpainted with 24-carat gold lustre, added to soften areas where the cobalt blurred in firing — embracing imperfection and adding a touch of warmth and richness.

A versatile wide-necked vase, perfect for roses, dahlias, sweet peas, tulips, and more. It also works beautifully with a flower frog in the base for more structured arrangements.
