A classic hand-painted vase with scroll handles and a generous, open form.
Wheel-thrown in speckled stoneware clay with scroll handles, then hand-painted with porcelain slip and blue cobalt leaf stripes. Glaze-fired to 1250°C.
A versatile wide-necked vase, perfect for roses, dahlias, sweet peas, tulips, and more. It also works beautifully with a flower frog in the base for more structured arrangements.
This vase has a very slight imperfection in the clay on the foot which has been fixed with kintsugi (see pics)
