Wheel-thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted with porcelain slip and cobalt stripes, then glaze-fired to 1250°C.

Lovely little vases — not too small — that can hold a surprising amount of flowers. Perfect for a posy from the garden or a few stems on the table. Each vase is unique, with small variations and gentle imperfections that reflect the handmaking process. The vase you receive may differ slightly from the one pictured; please see the group images to get a sense of the variations.

Overpainted with 24-carat gold lustre, added to soften areas where the cobalt blurred in firing — embracing imperfection and adding a touch of warmth and richness.
