Wheel-thrown in speckled stoneware clay, hand-painted with porcelain slip and blue cobalt leaf stripes, then glaze-fired to 1250°C. Overpainted with 24-carat gold lustre, added to soften areas where the cobalt blurred in firing — embracing imperfection and adding a touch of warmth and richness.

A versatile, narrow-necked vase with small handles — perfect for roses, dahlias, sweet peas, tulips, and more.
