Fired for over 86 hours in the groundhog-style climbing wood kiln belonging to Nic Collins in Dartmoor. This bottle vase was faceted and glazed in shino, the rich firing has covered it with wood ash and carbon trapping, more beautiful the closer you look. The vase is watertight and can be used both decoratively and functionally.
Some wadding scars on the base have been covered in 24 carat gold lustre and re-fired in an electric kiln.
